TÜV SÜD PPP 59061A Certified Solar System Kits
TÜV SÜD‘s standard PPP 59061A is the first solar system kit standard in the PV industry. It covers the entire functionality and compatibility of the system with its key components: PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, DC disconnects, PV wiring, connectors and safety labeling.
Each sub-assembly in the certification program must be individually certified by TÜV SÜD or an equivalent certification agency before inclusion in the kit certification. Each kit must also be verified for design and technical documentation, including factory-level production monitoring and annual on-site inspections.
Certification to PPP 59061A involves a range of tests and conformity checks: DC system design and installation conformity, local electrical code conformity, proper protection and grounding, labeling, and PV system output performance tests.
